Wilton Town Council is one of the principal local government authorities in Wiltshire. Since there is no Borough or Town Council in Wilton I researched the local government system that Wilton Town Council falls under. This information was also key to the logo research for this project. The refuse bins are colour coded to help residents learn about the type of waste they can put in each bin: Green bins contain food waste and are collected every week; Yellow bins – recycle; Blue bins – cardboard, paper and scrap metal; Black bins – general rubbish; Brown bags – green garden waste. The refuse collection in Wilton Wiltshire is managed by Wilton Town Council. The town council office is located at the Town Hall which is situated at the top end of Market Place.
