Bin collections have been affected by snow across Kent due to the adverse weather conditions over the weekend. Bin collections are cancelled or delayed in parts of Kent due to snow and ice. Refuse crews will be working through the worst affected areas during daylight hours. Collections will continue to be disrupted into Friday for some areas particularly in the west of the county which include Margate, Ramsgate, Thanet and Dover. Crews will continue to work in these areas but are likely to face some continued disruption over tonight and into tomorrow. Where needed, crews will call back for a second visit later in the day if recycling bin wheeled bins cannot be emptied on their initial pass.
