Bin collections are still running as normal across Salford at Christmas and New Year. Please be aware that waste will probably not be collected if your wheelie bin is not out for collection on its normal day. Check the plan below to see when your bin is normally collected – if it's an alternate week, then your collection will be delayed by a week from its normal day. If you think you may miss the collection during the Christmas period please consider recycling your waste as often as possible throughout the year as this reduces the amount of rubbish that goes in to our black bin bags.

Waste Collection Salford across Greater Manchester have now been reviewed, as the holiday season approaches. Salford Council has announced changes to all bin collections for Xmas week. The waste collection changes will commence on Monday 19 December until Friday 30 December and are: Queen Street, Swinton Road and Deane Road once weekly from 7am–4pm. Salford City Council say that collections will take place as normal over this period, however they have warned residents not to leave bin bags outside if the bins are not clear.
