The only authorised sites for refuse and recycling during the period of Thursday December 23 to Friday January 2 (inclusive) are: The point at Market Deeping, Skegness, Horncastle High Street Car Park; Mablethorpe Regent Shopping Centre car park; Louth Town Car Park. All other sites will be closed. The council will be urging residents to take any large items they have for refuse collection on December 22 to one of the remaining community access points before 1pm. Community Access Points at Skegness, Horncastle, Louth and Mablethorpe will close at 1pm on December 22. The Garden Recycling Centres at Grantham, Lincoln and Louth will also close at 1pm on December 22. If you're looking for refuse collection in Long Sutton Lincolnshire, we can help.

Further CAPs will be built later in 2017 to cover Horncastle and Mablethorpe.
A 64litre reusable bag is being supplied for use with the collection point, which does not require batteries or technical. Residents who normally use the Skegness, Horncastle, Louth and Mablethorpe Community Access Points should ensure they have the correct refuse container for their property and take it to the roadside on December 21 ready to be collected first thing December 22.
