Saturday 24 & Sunday 25 February 2016 will be the next refuse and recycling bank holiday collection. In partnership with the North Kesteven District Council, Lincolnshire County Council will open their Household Refuse Collection Sleaford Centres at the Lowther Street tip in Sleaford and Beelow Lane tip in Lincoln for general waste and recycling only. Sleaford Household Refuse Collection Sleaford Centre (HWRC) will again be opening for 2 extra days next week – Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th February – between 10am – 5pm to accept general garden waste; black bagged waste; cardboard, paper and plastic packaging; scrap metal and white goods.

The HWRC will accept footlong black bags only. The sites, on the A17 at Headlands Industrial Estate will be open Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 February from 8am to 4pm each day as the plant is prepared for a new contract with Lincolnshire County Council to provide refuse collection for Sleaford. The Household Refuse Collection Sleaford Centres will open from 7am to 7pm both days (NB the Mon site closes at 5pm). Over the weekend, Saturday 26 February and Sunday 27 February the centres will be collecting black bag waste in addition to recycling.

Extra dates have been added this year to help the residents of Sleaford in Lincolnshire and we're here to help you be prepared. Leave your rubbish bags out on your normal collection day and bring them to us on either Wednesday 24 or Thursday 25 February between 9am and 4pm. Black bagged general waste and recycling will be accepted but no other types of waste can be taken. The Household Refuse Collection Sleaford Centres, on the A15 outside Sleaford and off St Peter's Road, Lincoln, are open for waste collections three Saturday mornings a month.
