Residents of Scunthorpe and surrounding villages can now take advantage of a new garden waste collection service. The new service will collect garden waste three times a year from their homes, as part of the overall change to the Household Waste and Recycling Collection in North Lincolnshire. The scheme, which was planned for April, has been brought forward following feedback from residents and will begin on May 3rd this year. Garden waste and large items can now be collected from outside your property on a Sunday! In addition to the council's normal collections, which take place every two weeks on specific days, they are working with householders to collect garden waste and large items on a Sunday morning.
